Antimony Pentoxide Sol for FCC Nickel Passivation: SIPPA® 27
SIPPA® 27 is aqueous anionic colloidal dispersion of antimony pentoxide in water. It is used as additive for nickel passivation in Fluid Catalytic Cracking (FCC) processes, specifically to manage the negative effects of nickel contaminants in crude oil.
The particle size of SIPPA® 27 is < 5 nm. This sol is extremely stable and will not settle under normal conditions. It is therefore an ideal system to be metered into an oil stream and be assured of consistent antimony concentration.
Antimony Pentoxide Powder: SIPPA® 65
SIPPA® 65 is nano size powder of hydrated Antimony Pentoxide. It is developed as a flame retardant synergist for ABS, polyolefins and other materials employing halogens as the primary flame retardant. Colour pigment loading can often be reduced by 50% when antimony trioxide is replaced by an equal weight of SIPPA® 65. The brilliance of fluorescent colors is easily maintained and translucency is retained.
